Well, hello there. We are Tim and Susie Grody and we are starting a new unconventional online church and we want to invite you to be a part of it. So, welcome to the Twig. We are an online church with occasional in-person gatherings and meetups. We want to offer a space for you to reconnect with God anytime, anywhere. Why the twig? Well, this is a twig. And what is a twig? It's a branch that's become disconnected from the vine. And Jesus said,"I am the vine and you are the branches. If you remain

in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit, but apart from me, you can do nothing." So what happens when we get disconnected? We become the twig. And here's the thing, God is always coming for the twig. God is always reaching for the disconnected parts of you and me with love and not shame. One of my favorite stories in scripture is that story in Luke 15 where Jesus talks about how a shepherd leaves the 99 and goes looking for the one that is lost, searching and searching until he finds it. And when he does, he puts it on his

shoulders and brings it home. Now, that's the heart of God and that is the heart of the twig. So, the twig is a church, but not a traditional one. We're a church for the disconnected and we are an online space for spiritual reconnection and real conversation. And we believe that even when life has pulled us away from community, from church, even from God, that the spirit of God is still drawing near. And we want to meet people in that place. We'll be offering weekly messages online grounded in scripture and in real life.

And then we'll be organizing occasional in-person meetups in various locations for reflection and prayer and connection. So, no pressure, no pretense, just a space for you to reconnect with the vine, to reconnect with God, and maybe to remember that you're not alone. So, we'd love to have you join us. And welcome.
